lock won’t work

Being stuck outside of a door isn’t always caused by a mistake. There are plenty of situations that could stop you lock from working the way it should. This page will give you a couple common issues that my get you out of this sticky situation quickly!

Using lubricant can be a great temporary solution to deal with a stuck or sticky lock. When choosing lock lube using a non oil or grease based lubricant is very important. The oil found in common lubricant like wd-40 will work, but is not recommended as it causes dirt and other debris to stick in your lock. Making it more difficult to operate.
